APPLICATIONS OPEN

Startups can apply for the 1864 accelerator through the website and fill out a form via the F6S portal. The application window will be open for 2 months and the accelerator team will begin screening applicants for the next stage of selection. Six weeks before the cycle starts, Flat6Labs will organize a local Fintech Hackathon that will be directly supported by Barclays and will be a key event in introducing and promoting 1864’s first cycle.

After reviewing and filtering the application, the best teams will are inited to be interviewed in person by 1864 Accelerator and Barclays Bank Egypt. Each accepted company will start the onboarding process with company registration. 1864 Accelerator team will help the startup teams begin operating as a fully-fledged incorporated business by helping them with signing term papers, company registration, legal agreements, and lightweight due diligence. After this point, you are ready to begin operating as a fully-fledged incorporated business.

DEMO DAY & BEYOND

After teams receive orientation and are setup, they gain access to mentors & begin training. They then spend the first month of the program building and iterating the minimum viable product.
